Public safety is a top priority for Terri. She knows that first responders must be equipped with the appropriate tools and facilities to perform their jobs and keep San Juan County citizens safe. During her term, Terri helped secure funding for law enforcement and county fire, ensuring they have the necessary resources to effectively respond to calls for service.
Additionally, Terri recognizes that safe and well-maintained roads are also crucial components of public safety. During her term, she has been instrumental in securing funding for vital road projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure and ensuring smooth traffic flow throughout San Juan County.
Our unique outdoor spaces bring immense value to our community. Not only do these natural assets improve the quality of life for San Juan County residents, but they also provide economic opportunities in the booming outdoor recreation industry.

Terri supported San Juan County hosting this annual event to showcase our great community. The event brought together over 600 county officials from across the state to collaborate and connect so they can better serve their communities.
This is the third year hosting the countywide Public Education Department Internship Program for public and private sectors. This year, the county welcomed 60 San Juan County interns. Terri fully supports this program to help ensure students are career-ready upon graduation.
